MRS. WILLIAM SPRATT DIES DECEMBER 12
Anna May Bunn, oldest daughter of Charles and Edith Bunn, was born in Madison township, Nov. 20, 1883, and passed away at her home four miles northeast of Brooklyn, Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1934, at the age of 51 years and 22 days. She has lived in Brooklyn at different intervals, and finally chose Brooklyn for her home.
She was united in marriage April 19, 1905, with Wm. Spratt of Brooklyn, Three children were born to this union, Alma of California, Myrtle, who passed away two years ago, and Charles, living at home.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, three sisters, Hannah of Randall, Minn.; Martha of Detroit, Mich.; and Agnes of Ames; three brothers, John Bunn and Lester Bunn, both of Brooklyn and Alfred of Ames.
Anna was a kind and good neighbor and will be missed by all who knew her. For the past four years she has suffered ill health.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in charge of the Rev. E.W.F. Holler. Music for the services was furnished by Mrs. John Bickford and Thursia Hayward, accompanied by Thursia Manatt at the organ. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Gin McAninch, Fred Gray, Geo. Billick, Erwin Billick, Fred Read and Ash Read.
