ADELINE GLASS FUNERAL RITES HELD AT MONTE

Funeral rites were held Tuesday at Montezuma for Adeline Glass 84, former school teacher in Poweshiek county. The Rev. George Snyder officiated. Burial was in Montezuma cemetery.

She was preceded in death by three brothers - Robert, Roy, and Byron; three sisters - Elizabeth, Sarah, and Margaret. She is survived by one sister, Mary Butts, of Marshalltown; two nieces, Margaret Butts and Lillyan Marks, both of Marshalltown.

Also surviving are three nephews - Harold Lofgreen of Montezuma, James Glass of Malcom, and Bertram Glass of Victor.

She was born at Montezuma, March 17, 1873, the daughter of the late James and Levisa Glass. She taught for 30 years in Poweshiek county rural schools.
