Deaths: McCORMICK -- Charles S. McCORMICK, age 95, died at Mahaska hospital at 9:00 a.m. today. He had been ill for some time and formerly resided at 713 Third Avenue East. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 21, from the Nazarene church at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. T. T. McCORD in charge. Burial in University Park cemetery. The deceased had resided in Oskaloosa for many years and is survived by two sons, Frank of this city and Fred of Montezuma; two daughters, Mrs. Andrew OSWANDEL of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Mae WEGIENEK of Des Moines. Also a brother, John McCORMICK of Montezuma. The body is at Powers funeral home.

Obituary: Charles S. McCORMICK, son of Robert J. and Electa McCORMICK, was born near Montezuma, Iowa, Nov. 1, 1866, and departed this life October 19, 1951, in the Mahaska Hospital, Oskaloosa.

In 1892 he was united in marriage to Anna LUDEMAN, who preceded him in death in 1923. Four children were born to this union.

In 1912, Mr. McCORMICK moved to University Park, where he lived until his death.

Very early in life he became a Christian and remained true to this faith in Christ. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Oskaloosa.

He leaves to mourn his departure, four children, Frank McCORMICK of Oskaloosa, Fred McCORMICK of Montezuma, Mrs. Ada Mae WEGIENEK of Des Moines and Mrs. Helen OSWANDEL of Oskaloosa. Also one brother, John O.McCORMICK of Montezuma and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at two-thirty Sunday, October 21, from the Nazarene church, the Rev. T. T. McCORD, pastor, was in charge. Burial was in the University Park cemetery.
