Mrs. F.J. McCORMICK Funeral Tuesday. Funeral services for Mrs. Fletcher J. McCORMICK were said at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Steffy Funeral Home with Rev. H. W. MUNSTER of the Malcolm and Ewart Methodist Churches in charge.

Mrs. McCORMICK, a long-time resident of this community, passed away at her home Sunday, May 18, at the age of 83 years and one month. She had lived on or near the present farm home northwest of Montezuma for 59 years, the last fifteen of which she has been an invalid.

Casketbearers were Frank WELLS, Ed INMAN, Art DRYDEN, Howard THOMPSON, George INGRAM, and Carmon JOHNSON.

Ida Belle BLAKELY, daughter of Thomas and Anna BLAKELY, was born April 22, 1864, near Preemption, Ill., and passed away at her home near Montezuma May 18, 1947, at the age of 83 years, and one month.

She was married to Fletcher J. McCORMICK of Montezuma February 9, 1888. To this union one son, James, was born.

Her husband preceded her in death September 24, 1938. Surviving are her son and wife; one granddaughter, Cleda, and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie PUTNAM and Miss Anna BLAKELY, all of Montezuma.

Early in life she was united with the methodist Church. She lived on or near the present farm home northwest of Montezuma for 59 years, the last fifteen of which she was an invalid.

She was home-loving, kind, and thoughtful and was beloved by a large circle of friends and relatives. She built today for tomorrow.
