With heavy hearts, at the age of 55, we announce the death of Heidi Jo Ferneau (Grinnell, Iowa), born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on September 18, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family. She was predeceased: by her father, Curtis Ferneau; her brother, Jonathan Ferneau.
She is survived by: her mother, Betty Ferneau; her daughters, Jennifer Kriegel (Jake) of Malcom and Katie Jo Ferneau of Grinnell; her siblings, Kirk Ferneau of Grinnell and Joni Ferneau (Steve Brown) of Lombard, Illinois; her grandchildren, Corbin, Brielle, Garrett, Elaina, Kaden and Ronan. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grinnell Regional Hospice or Poweshiek Animal League (PALS) in Grinnell. Visitaion will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home (1103 Broad Street, Grinnell, IA).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Grinnell (1103 Broad Street, Grinnell IA). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
