DIED.

In the city, on the 14th inst., after a short illness, Mrs. Hannah Craver, in the 59th? year of her age.

Also on the 18th inst., the husband, James A. Craver, after a brief illness in his 54th year.

A discourse was preached in the M.E. Church on the 19th inst., in view of the death of both of these much loved Christians. The home was filled with people and perhaps nearly as many persons went away from the church, not able to secure a seat as were inside. Some seventy-five Masons were present in appropriate regalia, in passive of their grief because of the decease of a Brother.

In the departure of Mr. and Mrs. Craver, not only the family is sorely bereaved, and the church of which they were eminently ( ??? ) members, but the community has sustained an incalculative? loss. Every one seems to feel it, and to sympathize most deeply with the grief-stricken family and relatives.

NOTE: Nearly impossible to read.
