ELIZABETH ANGINET DANNER

Elizabeth Anginet Danner, daughter of Edwin and Elizabeth (Hall) Sackett, was born at Brooklyn, Iowa, Nov. 1, 1864, and passed away in Denver, Colorado, June 9, 1934, aged 70 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Sept. 14, 1881, she was united in marriage with Alanson E. Evans and to this union were born 3 children, Nora, who died in infancy, Stella Ellis of Hillsboro, Oregon, William Evans of Hurley, South Dakota; and by a second marriage, a son, Rex Block, of Kansas City, Missouri. Besides the children and grandchildren, she leaves to mourn her departure, one brother, George Sackett of Broadland, South Dakota; one sister, Mrs. Emma Baird of Montezuma, Iowa; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded to the great beyond by her father and mother; five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Alice Carter, Mrs. Rachel Baker, Mrs. Mary Good, Mrs. Cora Milne, Mrs. Dora Patten, Kirkland Sackett and Frank Sackett and two sisters who died in infancy. The deceased was an excellent mother, a fine neighbor. When quite young she united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at Fairmont and later transferred to the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services from the James Patten home Wednesday at 2:30 were conducted by Rev. J.B. Freedline. The pallbearers are Ray Evans, Earl Evans, Ross Meldrem, Ed Carter, John Sackett and Ira Patten.
