CLAIR ROYCE SERVICES HELD

Clair C. Royce, 69, of Kellogg died Wednesday, March 10, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Reese Chapel in Newton, with the Rev. A.L. Schultz, pastor of the Kellogg Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was at Newton Union Cemetery.

The son of Glacious and Ann Royce, he was born Nov. 14, 1912, in Malcom. He was married to Izola Coburn Nov. 17, 1934, in Montezuma.

Mr. Royce was employed as a supervisor for One Minute Washer in Newton and Midwest Manufacturing in Kellogg. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Stadiums Unlimited in Grinnell.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Mike Snook of rural Newton; Rebecca Burrell of Minneapolis, Minn.; Linda Graham of East Dubuque, Ill., and Rae Lewis of Gilbert, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Andrew L. Royce of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
