JANET FAYE BUEHL

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017: - at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, from 3 to 8 p.m., with family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. - at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton, Illinois.

Janet Faye Buehl, 73, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017, at her home in Hamilton. Janet was born on August 17, 1944, in Grinnell, IA, the daughter of Wilbur Eugene and Alice Louise (Jochims) Norris. On November 21, 1964, she was united in marriage to Robert E. Buehl at First Lutheran Church in Keokuk. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2008.

Janet attended Calvary Baptist Church in Keokuk, and loved her family dearly. Some of her favorite hobbies include crocheting, bowling, playing cards and attending Mike's fish fry's. She also was extremely lucky, and often won at the casino slot machines.

Janet is survived by two sons: Michael (Lisa) Buehl of Drummonds, Tennessee; and Eric (Becky) Buehl of St. Louis, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Gregory (Bethany) Taylor, Jessica (Jonothan) White, Shannon (Mark) Nienow, Michael (Monika) Buehl, Jeremy (Heidi) Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Sydney Buehl, Mason Buehl and Tatum Buehl; and two great-grandchildren: Bella Taylor and Clark Taylor. Other survivors include her sisters Karen (Mike) Rupp of Keokuk, Iowa; and Diana (James) Gatzmeyer of Austin, Texas; her brother Ralph Norris of Ottumwa, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert; her daughter Deborah Taylor, and her granddaughter Kristen Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton, with Reverend John Heath officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, form 3 to 8 p.m., with family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
