MRS. DOUGLASS
RITES SATURDAY

Mrs. Jeannette Douglass, 54, the wife of Leslie E. Douglass of Rte. 2, Malcom, died suddenly Wednesday morning at her home.

The daughter of Thomas S. and Elsie P. Langwith Douglass, she was born Nov. 7, 1914, at Muscatine, Ia. She graduated from Muscatine Junior College and attended the University of Minnesota. She made her home in Minneapolis for eight years and Los Angeles for 24 years.

Mrs. Douglass was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the D.A.R., and had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star. On April 2, 1966, she was married to Leslie E. Douglass in Los Angeles, and since that time the couple made their home on the farm near Malcom.

She is survived by her husband and her four children--Nancy Rosenberger of Chico, Calif., and Douglass Ralph Rosenberger, Debra Sue Rosenberger and Judith Diane Rosenberger, all of Woodland Hills, Calif. She is also survived by two step-children--Mrs. Robert (Loraine) Clubbs of Winslow, Ariz., and Mrs. Martin (Virginia) Duffey of Wabash, Ind.--plus six step-grandchildren and a brother and sister--Thomas S. Douglass of Davenport and Mrs. James (Olive) Rhodes of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Mrs. Douglass will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Eugene Young, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, officiating. Organist will be Mrs. R.J. Nash.

Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Malcom. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions in Mrs. Douglass' name to the fund of their choice.
