FUNERAL SERVICES
HELD TUESDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Leslie E. Douglass, who died unexpectedly at her home Dec. 24 following a heart seizure, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Malcom Presbyterian church. Rev. E.E. Beattie, pastor, conducted the services and Mrs. Nellie Farley was organist.

Interment was in Ivy Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were Alvin Mann, Henry Rohlfing, Herschel Griffith, Leonard Larcham, Virgil Sherwood, and Paul Bacon. Flower bearers were Mrs. Lester Baltisberger, Mrs. Bacon, Mrs. Sherwood, Mrs. Fred Stone and Louis Ford.

Eunice Isabelle was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Stimson and was born in Poweshiek county April 4, 1907. She was educated in the county and was graduated from Malcom high school. She was united in marriage with Leslie Edwin Douglass June 29, 1929, and to this union two daughters were born, Mrs. Loraine Clubbs, Winslow, Ariz., and Mrs. Virginia Duffey, Wabash, Ind.

Surviving besides her husband and daughters, are two sisters, Mrs. Walter Audas, Malcom, and Mrs. Clifford Johnson, Grinnell; two brothers, Lowell Stimson, Des Moines, and Wayne Stimson, Burchinal, and a granddaughter.

She was active in the work of the Presbyterian church and was president of the women's organization at the time of her death. She also was active in the work of the Farm Bureau and 4-H clubs.
