RAYMOND L. MULLEN, 71

Raymond L. Mullen, 71, of Muscatine, a former resident of Brooklyn, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at the Muscatine Care Center.

Funeral services for Raymond Mullen were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Rev. David Rogula, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church officiated. Organist was Marilyn Kriegel. Casketbearers were Pam Grimm, Tom Mullen, Jeff Mullen and Greg Mullen. Interment was in Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery.

Raymond Lester Mullen, son of Darrell and Bethel (Graham) Mullen, was born October 18, 1931, at Brooklyn. He attended Brooklyn schools and graduated from Brooklyn High School. He worked in construction. He and his mother moved to Muscatine in 1991.

Raymond is survived by his mother, Bethel Mullen of Muscatine; two brothers and their wives, Louran and Patty Mullen, and Fred and Karen Mullen, all of Muscatine; one sister and her husband, Evelyn and Jim Baker of Davenport, several nieces and nephews.

His father and sister, Hazel McConnell, preceded him in death.
