MR. SHELLHART
DEAD AT 69

Clarence Roland Shellhart, 69, of Wright City, M., formerly of Grinnell, died Jan. 27 at St. Mary's hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Sept. 28, 1902, in Ankeny, the son of Charles and Margaretta Kobi Shellhart.

Mr. Shellhart was married to Mabel Welcher of Garden Grove Dec. 28, 1921.

He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Margaret at home, Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Licklider of St. Louis, Mrs. Clyde (Shirley) Bryson of Wentzville, Mo., Mrs. Harold (Eileen) Marshall of Weldon, and Mrs. Thomas (Carolyn) Henley of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sons, James of Florissant, Mo., and Jack, serving the U.S. Navy in Hawaii; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, George and William; one brother and one sister.
