MR. MCINTOSH
DEAD AT 90A native of Grinnell, Andrew McIntosh, died July 30 at the age of 90 in Edmonds, Wash., according to word received here by friends.
Born in Grinnell in 1885, he was one of eight children. His father operated a dry goods and grocery store here near the present location of the city offices.
After completing his schooling in Grinnell, Mr. McIntosh attended Grinnell College, graduating in 1910. He was a member of the Honor "G," lettering in track.
A retired abstract and appraisal man, McIntosh had lived in the Edmonds area since 1956.
Prior to that time, he lived in Webster City for 25 years, where he sold insurance, and was a member of the Hamilton County Appraisal Board.
McIntosh is survived by his wife, Marian, of Edmonds; three sons, all living in Washington; a sister, Mrs. W. E. Lyman, of Des Moines; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was a longtime active member of the Congregational Church while in Iowa. In Edmonds, he was an active member of the United Methodist Church, and church groups.
