STRICKEN BY DEATH

Mrs. Seth Iliff passed away suddenly Sunday evening at 10:30 o'clock at the Community Hospital following a stroke of paralysis. Sunday evening just as she was entering the Friends church she was seized with a light stroke and was taken to the hospital.

Mrs. Iliff for many years has been employed by the Grinnell Laundry and all who knew her loved and respected her. She was 53 years, one month and 16 days of age, having been born March 26, 1876.

Funeral services will be held from the Friends church, tomorrow, Wednesday, afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G.A. Simcox, assisted by Rev. W.B. Wilson and Rev. Moses Mendenhall of Oskaloosa, quarterly superintendent for the Friends church. The body will lie in state at the Friends church from 1:00 to 2:00 o'clock. Burial will be at Hazelwood cemetery.
