Mrs. Laura Snow Hegenlock, 72, the widow of Fed W. Hagenlock, of 718 Pearl St., died Sunday afternoon at Grinnell General Hospital following hospitalization of the past 10 days.

The daughter of William and Ann Clark Snow, Mrs. Hagenlock was born in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England, on April 22, 1897. At an early age her parents died and at the age of 11 she came to the United States and Grinnell to make her home with relatives.

On Aug. 8, 1914 she was married to Fred W. Hagenlock at Montezuma. To this marriage were born two daughters--Dorothy Hagenlock who died in 1936; and Mrs. LeRoy (Helen) Johnson of Grinnell.

Mrs. Hagenlock had been employed by the Grinnell Shoe Co. and during World War II was employed at Midwest Metal Stamping Co. in Kellogg. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Mrs. Hagenlock was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1963; her daughter; and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Helen Johnson; two grandchildren--Fred Johnson and Mrs. James (Darlene) Shope, both of Grinnell; six great-grandchildren--Manda Rae Shope, Lana Lee Shope, Michael James Shope, Gigi Ann Johnson, Michelle Marie Johnson, and Stanley David Johnson; and one sister, Lillian Croft, presently residing in England.

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Hagenlock will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Reaves, Minister of the Assembly of God church, officiating.

Burial will be made in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home.
