HIRAM BROWN,
LONG TIME RESIDENT
OF GRINNELL, DIES

Hiram Brown of Newton died Friday morning at Skiff Memorial hospital following a severe attack of flu.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at Smith's Funeral home.

Mr. Brown was a resident of Grinnell until a few years ago, when he went to Newton to make his home with a daughter, Mrs. Mary Sumpter.

His son, Harry Brown, and two sisters, Mrs. H.M. Nichols and Mrs. Alex Hunter, live in Grinnell.

Burial will be in Hazelwood.
