HUGH MCILRATH
DIED MONDAY IN
LOCAL HOSPITAL

Hugh McIlrath, "the sage of Carnforth," prominent farmer and staunch Republican, passed away on Monday in a local hospital. Mr. McIlrath had been a picturesque figure in the county for many years. He was fond of saying that he came from Ireland "with a dime in my pocket."
