RITES HELD FOR
PERRY MILLER

Perry T. Miller, 73, of Beaman, a native of Brooklyn, died Tuesday night at his winter home in Sun City, Ariz.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hillside Church of Christ in Marshalltown, with the Rev. Kerry Jech officiating. Burial was at the Vienna Cemetery at Beaman, with the Juston Funeral Home of Conrad in charge of arrangements.

The son of Samuel and Carrie Hayes Miller, he was born Dec. 9, 1907, at Brooklyn. He had lived in Grinnell prior to moving to Beaman.

He was married to Helen L. Brooks on Feb. 12, 1929. Mr. Miller was a charter member of the Hillside Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Max of rural Marshalltown, Marvin of Conrad and Marion of Gladbrook; four daughters, Marilyn Hasselman of Gladbrook, Donna Arends of Beaman, Joan Koch of rural Marshalltown and Janice Martin of Mapleton; two sisters, Dorothy Smith of Brooklyn and Evelyn Peak of Grinnell; two brothers, Willis of Adams, Neb. and Robert of Des Moines; and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one granddaughter.
