MOTHER DIES AT
HOSPITAL WHERE SHE
HAD TAKEN SON

Mrs. Elizabeth Adele Rossman, 55, widow of Leo D. Rossman, residing at 1012 Main street, succumbed Monday evening to a heart attack suffered at a local hospital, where she had taken her 12 year old son, Richard for an operation for a mastoid infection. She lived only a short time following the attack, which came before the operation was performed.

Mrs. Rossman leaves several children. Two sons, George and J. Lawrence are enrolled in the Merchant Marine and Lawrence is now sick in a hospital at Alameda, Calif., with a throat infection.

Funeral services will be held from the James Funeral Home at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning. The body will be taken to Buffalo Prairie, Ill., for interment.
