--Within a week the boys in blue have carried two of the bodies of comrades to their last rest in Hazelwood. Last Saturday G.R. Thorp died of the injuries received from his fall Thursday afternoon. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at the M.E. church, attended by the G.A.R., their wives, and the salvation army. The body was preceded to the cemetery by the Grinnell band and buried according to the G.A.R. ritual.
