SERVICES HELD

Clarence Clayton McGinnis, 81, Unionville, Mo., died July 12 at Putnam County Memorial Hospital in Unionville.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at the Husted Funeral Home in Unionville with burial at the Shipley Cemetery in Hartford, Mo.

He was born May 24, 1901, in Putnam County, Mo., the son of Janice and Emma Fowler McGinnis. On Jan. 23, 1926, in Putnam County he was married to Violet Luella Wilson, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Jack and Jerry McGinnis, Grinnell, and Rollie McGinnis, Kellogg; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Robert McGinnis; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
