ROBERT ANDERSON

Robert E. "Robbie" Anderson, 20, of Newton died Sunday, Nov. 29, at his home. An autopsy was to be performed to establish the exact cause of death.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at St. Luke United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Darryl Pals officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The Wallace-Pence Funeral Home of Newton is in charge of arrangements.

He was the son of Robert T. and Elsie M. Ulland Anderson and was born May 25, 1978, in Newton. He was a 1996 graduate of Grinnell High School.

He was a student and cashier at Hewitt Corner Service Station in Newton and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his parents, Elsie Ulland of Newton and Robert and Judith Anderson of Kellogg; his paternal grandparents, Robert T. Anderson of Marshalltown and Ida M. Anderson of LeGrand; two stepsisters, Corey Hall of San Francisco and Karrie Hall of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and one stepbrother, Chris Hall of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
