C.A. FRASIER, GRINNELL BANKER
MANY YEARS, DIES AFTER ILLNESS

C.A. Frasier, president of the Grinnell State Bank for many years until the start of 1955, died at mid-morning Saturday, Jan. 29, following an illness of several weeks. He was 68 years old.

Funeral services will be conducted from Smith Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, with Rev. Leland Mann officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted by C.S. Myers.

Lodge will open at 1:30 Tuesday for the Masonic rites, it was announced.

RETIRED JAN. 1

Mr. Frasier had retired from active banking on Jan. 1, after selling his interest at Grinnell State Bank to F.A. Jones, now the bank president.

The Grinnell banker was born at Ashland, Nebr., Jan. 5, 1887, the son of Edward A. Frasier and Ida Black. He was married at Lincoln, Nebr., on Sept. 20, 1911, to Alice M. Smith, who survives.

HERE 20 YEARS

The Frasiers came to Grinnell 20 years ago from Osceola, Nebr.

Mr. Frasier was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Elks, Kiwanis and Fortnightly clubs, and had served several years as treasurer of the American Red Cross at Grinnell.

SURVIVORS

Surviving are his wife, Alice; three daughters, Mrs. David (Louise) Ross of Grinnell, Miss Jeannette Frasier of Springfield, Ill., and Mrs. Sidney (Ruth) Silcock of Mayville, Wis.

Also surviving are two brothers, Roscoe Frasier of Ceresco, Neb., and Clarence Frasier of Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Williamson of Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Frank Hrubesky of Geneva, Neb.; and one granddaughter and five grandsons.

At the final rites, organ selections will be played by Norman Goodbrod. Pall bearers will be Jack Bierman, Harry Crowder, L.G. Keeney, Earl Mathews, Arthur McDowell, Frank Mitchell, Lody Morrison, Cecil Myers, Lawrence Pedersen, Clair Strand, Charles Sumner, Joseph Van Horn and W.W. Venable.
