SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Daniel Cole, 21, of Rte. 1, Deep River, who died of injuries received last Thursday in an accident on Interstate 80 near Brooklyn, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Brooklyn.

The Rev. J. Arthur Eveland officiated, and burial was in the Community Cemetery near Millersburg, with the Nevenhoven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The son of Clarence and Ruth Fairchild Cole, he was born Dec. 18, 1952, at Sigourney. For the past 12 years, he and his family lived in the Brooklyn and Deep River area. He was a graduate of BGM High School. A former member of the Jaycees, he was employed by Brooklyn Super Valu.

Mr. Cole is survived by his parents; two sisters, Darlene and Donna; one brother, Randy; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lula Blain of North English; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Grace Fairchild of Sigourney. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
