MRS. MARY HANNAH

Funeral services for MRS. MARY ANDREWS HANNAH, who died. Services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon of last week at the home of her niece, MRS. JAMES COOPER, JR.

The REV.J.H. KRENMYRE, pastor of the Methodist Church, had charge of the service. Burial was in the Montezuma Cemetery.

The pallbearers were C.W. GORSUCH, S.J. ZORN, GUST PETERSON, DWIGHT CONNOR, A. GROENENBOOM and WH?EY BALLARD and MRS C.W. GORSUCH and MRS. D. B. HIGH sang favorite selections.

Following is the Obituary: Mary Andrews was born in Switzerland in 1844. She came to America as a child, living first in New York. Later her parents moved to Ohio, and in 1854 they came to Iowa.

As a young woman she went to Kansas to prove up on a claim, and while there met and married JAMES HANNAH. He died after six years, and she moved back to Montezuma. For the last 14 years, she had made her home with her neice , MRS. JAS. COOPER.

Mrs. Hannah was the last of a family of five girls. A brother, JACOB, died in 1928. There are two brothers, REUBEN and NICHOLAS, in California.

In girlhood, she united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. Until compelled to stay at home by ill health, she was regular in her attendance at church and Sunday School.
