SANDRA KAY DOBBS

Sandra Kay Dobbs, 56, of Glenwood died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at Park Place in Glenwood.

A graveside service was held Sept. 20, 2006, at Hazelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Stewart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements were by Smith Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.smithfh.com.

She was born March 20, 1950, in Grinnell, the daughter of Curtis and Mary Mullins Dobbs. She was afflicted with a rare disorder called Glactoemia and had been institutionalized since the age of two. She had lived in Newton and Glenwood most of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Dobbs Park of Twin Falls, Idaho, and one sister, Tanna Milburn of Mountain Home, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her father; two stepfathers, Norman Tufte and Ken Park; one sister, Kitty Lou Dobbs and her grandparents, Jesse and Myrtle Mullins and Ed and Dora Dobbs.
