LAST SERVICES FOR
MRS. JOHN IVERSON

Funeral services were held at two o'clock Monday afternoon from the home northeast of town for Mrs. John S. Iverson. Mrs. Iverson had been an invalid for the past year. Mrs. D.H. Snook and Mrs. Robert Bouma provided appropriate music for the funeral services which were conducted by Rev. H.L. Wissler. Interment was in Hazelwood. The pallbearers were all nephews.

Talette Severtson Manland was born near Stavanger, Norway, on February 9, 1861, and passed away on Friday noon May 11, 1928, at the family home northeast of Grinnell, at the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 2 days.

She was the daughter of Severt Torkelson and Ingeborg Marie Thorson. On October 1882, at the age of 21 years she came to this country and has made her home near Grinnell ever since her arrival in this country.

On February 14, 1891, she was united in marriage with John Severin Iverson at their home near Sheridan. In 1893 they moved to their present home two and one half miles north east of Grinnell. To this union were born four children, three of whom died in infancy.

She was confirmed in the Lutheran church near her home in Norway. Since coming to this country she has been a faithful member of the Norwegian Lutheran church of Grinnell. During her many weeks of suffering she has kept close to her Saviour and trusted upon Him for strength.

She is survived by her husband and one son Elmer who is at home. Two sisters: Mrs. Christina Hendrickson of Grinnell and Mrs. Ingeborg Severson of near Stavanger, Norway, and many nieces and nephews both here and in Norway. She is also preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
