JACK PASCH DIES;
SERVICES TUESDAY

J.F. "Jack" Pasch, 69, of Grinnell, died Saturday afternoon at Grinnell General Hospital East where he had been a patient for the past six weeks.

The son of Ferdinand and Mathilda Schultz Pasch, Mr. Pasch was born on August 17, 1899, at Aberdeen, S. Dak. He received his education in the public schools of this community and also at James, S. Dak.

He married Rebecca Larsen on June 20, 1923? in Los Angeles, Calif. Following their marriage, the couple lived in California and South Dakota and came to Grinnell in 1931 where Mr. Pasch operated the Pasch Transfer Company until three years ago. For the past three years he has made his home with his son Jack Jr, at Columbus Junction, Iowa.

Survivors include his two sons, John of Columbus Junction, Gerold of Minneapolis, Minn.; six grandchildren--John, Alison, Lorelei and Jimmy Pasch all of Columbus Junction and Jeffrey and Erick Pasch of Minneapolis; one sister, Marie Simon of Long Beach, Calif., and a brother, Ferdinand of Seal Beach, Calif.

Mr. Pasch was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 25, 1960; his parents; one sister Sarah, and four brothers, Otto, Louis, George and Bernard.

Funeral services for Mr. Pasch will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Eugene Young, pastor of the Grinnell Methodist Church, officiating.

Organist will be Mrs. Kathleen Heffner. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Halstead, Leonard Halstead, Wayne Wiley, Russell Wiley, Ernest Larsen and Lyle O. Wiley.

Burial will be in the Hazelwood Cemetery.
