Gabe J. Hauersperger, 23 months, of Union died Sunday, Sept. 5, at West Union.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the Nevenhoven Funeral Home in Brooklyn, with the Rev. Maynard Brotherson of Davenport officiating. Casket bearers were his father, John, his grandfathers, Mike Hauersperger and Ed Morrison; and his uncle, Kevin Hauersperger. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn.
He was the son of John Joseph and Melinda Jean Morrison Hauersperger and was born Sept. 30, 1997, at Marshalltown.
Surviving are his parents; his grandparents, Belinda Buck of Des Moines, Ed and Cindy Morrison of Indianola and Michael and Kathy Hauersperger of Brooklyn; and his great-grandparents, William and Maryjane Buck of Ottumwa, Gene and Betty Osborn of Brooklyn and Vernice Hauersperger of Brooklyn.
A memorial fund has been established.
