Laura Clapp, 102, of Grinnell died Friday, Dec, 5, 2008, at Mayflower Health Center.
No services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Mayflower Community Human Needs Fund or to Stewart Library. Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home.
She is survived by three sons, Charles M. Clapp of Little Rock, Ark., Robert A. Clapp of Waldport, Oregon, and James E. Clapp of New York, N.Y., and one sister, Edith Kreider of Erie, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Clapp, and two brothers, Allen and Charles Rice.
