JENNY L. GROTH

Jenny L. Groth, 50, 3700 28th St., Sioux City, formerly of Grinnell, died Jan. 30 at her home of cancer.

Services were held Feb. 2 at Christy Morningside Funeral Home with Susan Miller, chaplain of Hospice of Siouxland, officiating. The body was cremated. A memorial has been established in her name with Hospice of Siouxland.

She was born Feb. 17, 1943, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Bennett and Mae Rose. She was married July 20, 1985, in Sioux City to Henry "Gene" Groth. She was employed at banks in Sioux City, and in Grinnell was employed at Grinnell State Bank, McNally's and The Longhorn.

Survivors include her husband; her mother Mae Rose, Atlantic; one daughter Debbie, Griswold; one son Michael, Honolulu, Hawaii; one stepdaughter Sherry Reckas, Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother Phillip, Longmont, Colo.; seven grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren. She was the sister-in-law of Virgil and Pat Groth, Grinnell.
