ROGER MEANS

Funeral services for Roger Means, 48, of Brooklyn, were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 28, in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Mr. Means died in his home Thursday evening, March 24, 1988.

Rev. Raymond D. Moore, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, officiated. The organist was Mrs. Sybil Kelley. Casket-Bearers were Tim Means, Ben Means, Doug Young, Lonnie Rodgers, Ted Rodgers, and Jim Rodgers. Interment was in the Brooklyn Cemetery.

Roger Ivan Means, son of Ivan Albion Means and Eva Rose Roger Means, was born November 20, 1939. He came with his parents to Brooklyn in 1945. He received his education in the Brooklyn School. He worked for his father in the Goodyear Store and for Manatts.

Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Shirley Anderson of Iowa City, and two nephews, Mike and Scott Anderson of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
