RITES HELD TUESDAY
FOR STELLA M. VOGEL

Stella M. Vogel, 71, lifelong Malcom resident, died last Friday at Community hospital in Grinnell where she had been a patient a few days following a cerebral hemorrhage.

Born Dec. 22, 1891, she was the last survivor of William F. and Luella Schwarting Vogel. Preceding her in death were two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Irma Townsend, Edna T. Vogel and Walter B. Vogel.

Miss Vogel was a graduate of Malcom High School, had been a member of the Malcom Methodist church since 1910 and was a member of the Garden Club and Study Club in Malcom. Since 1947 she had spent the winter months in Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Vogel home in Malcom with the Rev. James T. Robinson of the Malcom Methodist church officiating. Burial was in Ivy Hill cemetery.
