REV. DELONG RITES ARE HELD

The Rev. John DeLong, a former Grinnell pastor, died Jan. 30 at a Waterloo hospital.

Funeral services for Rev. DeLong were held on Thursday, Feb. 2, at Grace United Methodist Church in Waterloo. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Waterloo.

He was pastor of the United Methodist Church in Grinnell from 1954 to 1957.

He is survived by his wife, who is in the health care center of Meth-Wick Manor in Cedar Rapids, where the couple lived at the time of his death.
