FUNERAL SERVICES HELD
FOR MRS. WISGERHOF

Funeral services were held Monday, March 9, at the Sully Community Church, for Mrs. Oliver H. (Hazel Viola) Wisgerhof, 62, of Sully, who died Friday evening, March 6, at her home.

The Rev. James D. Wright, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was in Sully Cemetery with Garden Chapel in Pella in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Neal and Cynthia Barendregt DePrenger, Mrs. Wisgerhof was born June 1, 1907, in the Murphy neighborhood and was a 1925 graduate of Sully high school.

She attended the University of Northern Iowa at Cedar Falls and taught in rural schools of Jasper County for eight years. She continued as a substitute teacher in the Lynnville-Sully school system.

On June 16, 1933, she was married to Oliver Wisgerhof.

Mrs. Wisgerhof was a member of the Sully Community Church and was serving as president of the Women's Christian Fellowship of the church at the time of her death. She had presided over Sully World Day of Prayer services on the day of her death.

Survivors include her husband, Oliver; two daughters--Mrs. Melvin (Marcile) Ratcliff of Lynnville and Mrs. Stanley (Carlene) Schrag of Arnold, Neb.; four granddaughters including Cynthia and Bonita Ratcliff of Lynnville; and three sisters--Mrs. Leonard (Julia) Pearce of Grinnell, Mrs. William (Nellie) Van Sant of Sully and Mrs. Gael (Josie) Atwood of Newton.

Mrs. Wisgerhof was preceded in death by a brother, Carl.
