The ashes of Wiley E. Arnold and Leona (Lee) Barth Arnold will be buried at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Lee passed away on Feb. 24, 2011 and Wiley died on April 21, 2006.

Wiley was born on Aug. 18, 1911, raised in Grinnell and graduated from Grinnell College. He was the son of David Martin Arnold and Nellie Palmer Arnold of Grinnell.

Lee attended Grinnell College where she met Wiley. She was born on July 7, 1917 to Arthur W. Barth and Ella C. Barth, and raised in Chicago.

Their lives will be celebrated at a family reunion to be held with their children and family members in connection with the burial of their ashes.

Surviving Wiley and Lee are the families of their children, Richard B. Arnold, Carol A. Celander and Arthur P. Arnold including their spouses, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
