DIES IN CHICAGO

Marilyn Elizabeth Brazda, 26, of Chicago, Ill., the wife of Kenneth Brazda, died Saturday morning in Chicago.

The daughter of Max G. and Janice Connelly Arnold, she was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Grinnell. She attended Jefferson public schools and was graduated from Jefferson High School with the class of 1964. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Iowa in 1968.

Four weeks ago, Oct. 14, she was married to Kenneth Brazda in Marshalltown. She had been associated with a Chicago hospital as an occupational therapist for the past 4-1/2 years.

Survivors include her husband; her parents; two brothers, David C. Arnold and Mark A. Arnold of Marshalltown; her grandmother, Mrs. Lola Connelly of Grinnell; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brazda will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home with Dr. James Delahooke, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Marshalltown, officiating. Organist will be Mrs. Willard Heffner. Burial will be in (Hazelwood Cemetery.)
