RUBY DIXON SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Ruby N. Dixon, 81, the mother of Larry Dixon of Grinnell, were conducted Friday at the United Methodist Church of Bloomfield, with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery there.

Mrs. Dixon was killed late Wednesday morning, June 20, when the car in which she was riding was struck by a semi-trailer truck at Milton.

Mrs. Dixon was born Aug. 19, 1902, in rural Davis County and lived in Bloomfield for most of her life. She is survived by five sons, Gene of Centerville, Larry of Grinnell, and Dean, Bill and Jack, all of Bloomfield; one daughter, Karen of Minnetonka, Minn.; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester.

Memorials have been established here with the Grinnell United Methodist Church, and the Grinnell Senior Center.
