MARJORIE M. BUSHNELL

Marjorie M. Bushnell, 82, of Grinnell died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at Mayflower Health Care Center.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, May 4, in Carman Center at Mayflower with the Rev. Robert Molsberry, pastor of the Grinnell United Church of Christ-Congregational, officiating. Pianist was Pat Saxton. A graveside service was held that afternoon in Oakland Cemetery in Manchester.

She was born July 1, 1922, in Waterloo, the daughter of Leroy and Marguerite Condon Goodrich. She was a graduate of High School. She was married Jan. 17, 1954, to Harland Bushnell in Cedar Rapids. They lived in Cedar rapids and Dubuque, and she was a homemaker. Following the death of her husband in 1969, she moved to Cedar Rapids, where she was employed in several retail establishments. She moved to Mayflower in January, 1999. She was a member of the United Church of Christ-Congregational in Grinnell.

She is survived by two daughters, Marguerite (Meg) Jeffrey of Grinnell and Mary Zeller of Papillion, Neb.; three grandchildren and one sister Maxine Holbert of Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
