Searsboro, Ia., Oct. 8, Special:

James Lunn was instantly killed Sunday morning about 10 o'clock 3 1-2 miles north of town when the car in which he was riding, driven by Kenneth Taylor, struck a rough place in the road and turned over. He leaves a mother and one brother, John; his father died a few years ago. James was a senior in High School here and well liked by all who knew him. He was a boy who will be greatly missed by all his school mates and friends and words cannot speak for his mother and brother for he was a home boy and his mother's company and helper as his brother worked in Newton. James also was driving a school bus.

Funeral services were held this morning at New Sharon, and interment will be made this afternoon at Hazelwood beside his father who passed away a few years ago.
