THE DEATH OF A.F. HILL

A.F. Hill a well known Grinnell man, died yesterday afternoon at two o'clock at his home on Prairie street, of uremic poisoning.

Mr. Hill is a Grinnell boy having been born here. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hill, two of the very earliest settlers. Mr. Hill came to Grinnell in 1854 and Mrs. Hill in 1855.

Bert, as he was best known, has been ill for more than six months. He underwent an operation last winter but without accomplishing any good. He has been very ill for the last few weeks.

A son served in the World War, who since died. His wife survives him. The funeral will occur Thursday afternoon.
