MRS. J.M. GARDNER
DIED LAST NIGHT

After a long and painful illness, which has kept her bed ridden since February 1, Mrs. J.M. Gardner passed away Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.J. Raffle. Mrs. Gardner had made her home with her daughter for the past five years. She was 76 years old on Jan. 31 last.

Short funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Raffles home at 1424 Third Ave. and the body will be taken to Ollie, Iowa, for interment in the Rock Creek cemetery near that place. Funeral services will be held at the grave at 1:30 o'clock.

Mrs. Gardner had made many friends during her residence here who esteemed her highly and her death is deeply regretted by all who knew her.
