MRS. WILDERDYKE RITES HELD

Dorothy F. Wilderdyke, 76, of Phoenix, Ariz.. formerly of Grinnell, died Friday, Oct. 9, at her daughter's cabin in Heber, Ariz.

Services were held Thursday, Oct. 15, at Carson Independence Chapel, with burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Mo.

She was born in Independence in 1911 and had lived in Grinnell from 1943 until 1960 when she returned to Independence. Mrs. Wilderdyke was a licensed practical nurse until her retirement in 1973. She moved to Phoenix at that time.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Climax Springs, Mo., and the Fire Department Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge in Edwards, Mo. She was a member of the Palm Croft Baptist Church in Phoenix.

Survivors include three sons, Frank Jr. of Hinkley, Calif., Paul of Grinnell and John of Independence; two daughters, Marie Harrington of Pontiac, Mich., and Dorothy Renaud of Phoenix; a sister, May Stark of Independence; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
