MRS. FANNIE ADKINS
IS SUMMONED

Fannie Ogden was born in Manchester, England, February 3, 1876. On the 31st of March, 1901 she was united in marriage to William John Bennett of that city, to which union were born two children, Alice, who accompanied her mother to Grinnell, and John, born here.

April the 19th, 1913 she left her old home for American shores; drawn by her desire to be near her step-daughter, Lillian, who had preceded her here. She has made her home in and around Grinnell since that time.

Left a widow January 4, 1921, she later married George Adkins of this city, February 1926.

After a long and painful illness, she passed away at the Community Hospital March 17, 1931, at the age of 55 years, 1 month and 14 days. Her interment was in Hazelwood.

Left to mourn her irreparable loss are her husband, George Adkins of this city, her daughter, Alice Bennett of Chicago, her son, John Bennett of this city, her step-daughter, Mrs. Lillian Sears, and her four grandchildren, Maynard, Russell, Roger and Alice Sears, all of Grinnell, besides two sisters, three brothers, nieces and nephews, Mrs. Mabel Leister and Mrs. Harold Adkins of Boise, Idaho, children of Mr. Adkins; and a host of friends, both in Manchester, England, and in Grinnell.
