REX KLINE DIES IN Eldon, MO.

Rex E. Kline, 62, of Eldon, Mo., died Wednesday, July 5, at the Boone County Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

Services for the former Grinnell man were held Friday, July 7, at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Eldon with the Rev. O.D. Johnson officiating. Burial was Saturday, July 8, at the Jackson Cemetery in Montezuma.

Mr. Kline was born Feb. 7, 1916 in Grinnell, son of Mr. Alba and Mary Binegar Kline. On June 3,, 1938, he married Irene M. Robertson in Nashua at the Little Brown Church in the Vale.

In 1976, Mr. and Mrs. Kline moved from Kirksville, Mo., to Eldon, and two years later, on Feb. 7, 1978, Mr. Kline retired from Prudential Life Insurance where he has been a salesman for 35 years.

Mr. Kline was a member of Kiwanis for 16 years, with a 14-year perfect attendance record. He was also a member of the First Christian Church in Eldon.

Mr. Kline is survived by his wife, Irene; two brothers, Franklin Kline of Kansas City, Mo., and Keith Kline of Ames; and two sisters, Mrs. Velva Anderson and Mrs. Mary Lou Eker, both of Grinnell.

He was preceded in death by one son, Neil Thomas Kline, who died in 1952.
