GRAVESIDE RITES HELD
FOR MRS. LA GRANGE

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Monday (today) at the Hazelwood Cemetery for Mrs. Leddie V. La Grange, 76, of San Diego, Calif., who died Thursday, Oct. 17, in San Diego.

The Rev. Elmer Elzey, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Malcom, officiated at the services. James-Schalinske Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. La Grange was born March 12, 1892, at Pocahontas, Iowa, and at an early age moved with her parents to Estherville. She received her education in this community.

On Oct. 18, 1908, she was married to Hugh Ross La Grange and following their marriage they lived in Montezuma, Grinnell and Tama. Mrs. La Grange conducted a magazine subscription business in Grinnell for many years. Since the death of her husband in 1951, Mrs. La Grange had lived in San Diego, Calif. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three daughters--Evelyn Kurcias of Bethesda, Md., Virginia Pierson of Fullerton, Calif., and Darlene Goure of San Diego; four grandchildren; and four sisters--Mrs. Rose Bolty of Estherville, Iowa, Mrs. James Price of Lake Park, Iowa, Mrs. Glenn Crook of Estherville and Mrs. Lulu Bradbury of Monterey Park, Calif.

Mrs. La Grange was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
