Inez Leone (Watts) Trubshaw, 99, died June 29, 2008, at Panorama City Convelescent Center in Lacey, Wash.
Private inurnment was at Powers Woodlawn Abbey, Puyallup, Wash. Arrangements were under the direction of Mills & Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Tumwater, Wash.
Inez was born Sept. 30, 1908, in Mahaska County to Sherm and May (Varner) Watts. She grew up in Iowa and taught school in Indianapolis and Barnes City before moving to Seattle in 1945.
She later moved to California where she worked as an auditor (comptroller) for the Hyatt Hotel, retiring in 1974. She returned to Seattle in 1979, and married H. Riley Trubshaw in Olympia. They moved to Panorama City in Lacey, Wash. in 1983.
She is survived by sisters, Verna (Ed) Gilbreaith of Sloan, and Evelyn (Clarence) Duinink of Montezuma; a sister-in-law, Mae Watts of Montezuma and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister Merle Watts of Barnes City, and two brothers, Wayne Watts and Autumn Watts, both of Montezuma.
