JAMES HUGHES

James Hughes passed away on Friday evening at his home on Fourth avenue after a lingering illness from Bright's disease. The funeral was Sunday afternoon from the *Mt. Pleasant church nine miles northeast of town and interment was in the church yard there. Mr. Hughes did not long survive his wife who passed away last April.
