GAYLORD BOWEN

Gaylord Lee Bowen, 89, of Camdenton, Mo., formerly of Kellogg, died Sunday, Aug. 7, at his home.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday at Hazelwood Cemetery here, with the Allee-Reed Funeral Home of Camdenton in charge of arrangements.

The son of Burns Roy and Clara Maude Kline Bowen, he was born Dec. 2, 1904, in Exira. He was married to Ivyl Psenica May 2, 1933, in Newton. She died in October 1993.

A Camdenton resident for the past year, Mr. Bowen was supervisor of power generation stations for Iowa Southern Utilities Co. before his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic lodge.

Surviving are one son, Richard of Camdenton; one daughter, Beverly Schwartz of Chicago; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
